New York Vein & Laser Surgery
John Zarcone, MD, PC
state-of-the-art varicose vein & spider vein treatment
Most insurance companies recognize treatment of saphenous
vein reflux and symptomatic varicose veins as a
medical
necessity.
As a result, laser treatment and an ambulatory
phlebectomy will be covered if conservative medical
management has failed.

Treatment of spider veins with laser therapy or Sclerotherapy
is considered by most insurance companies to be
cosmetic
and is not usually covered.
